Precautions/Instructions
for Fat Grafting
- Avoid applying pressure to the areas where fat was injected.
- Don’t wash your hair for the first day after, and use cold compresses on your face.
- Starting the day after surgery, you’ll need to receive antibiotic injections for 2 days at the clinic.
- For the first week, avoid saunas, alcohol, swimming, and intense exercise to keep your face from overheating.
- For about 4 weeks (the period when blood vessels form in the grafted fat), focus on maintaining a healthy weight, eating well, and managing your fatigue.
- Refrain from undergoing any skin treatments during this time.
